While in Egypt, we rode camels, very short distance, not very expensive, but fun. Camels are not fun to ride, very uneven experience. These camels were near the three Great Pyramids of Giza, just across the Nile River west of Cairo. Cairo is a large city, with a few camels inside the city, very unusual sight.

I rode a camel at a zoo once, I agree, very uneven. I hope you are enjoying your trip to Egypt.
