I used to tell friends I always have free concerts and free operas at home. And how I enjoyed very much those piano learning days when my daughters groped Mozart's and Chopin's notes, and that time they discovered Les Miserables. Ohhh Wo Those were the days. And of course, Menken's Disney favorites is a given, even at a time when my daughters got fascinated with John Williams' super spectacular Star Wars and other scores. My days were somber without the sound of the ebony and ivory keys. Today, a Sunday, both girls, with luck, are home. My elder one discussed the possibility of watching the Phantom of the Opera, the world's greatest production is coming to town. A bit expensive, if my opinion is sought, but a two to one vote, I was prevailed upon. Now, my younger daughter, the doctor, is banging the Phantom musical score on the piano. Ha ha. The wonder is back.

@WiseGhots If you are referring to the Hugh Jackman starrer, hu hu, the saving factor there is the production itself, This one is the best:

Hmmm. The Phantom of the Opera is a little scary, actually. I try to sing some lines but mostly, I just listen to the dramatic grande sound.
