It is gonna come down

If there is a loose branch on any nearby tree today it is gonna come down.
The wind is horrible.
Looking out my front window to the empty field the hay seems to be bowing and nodding. It is going mostly from east to west. Looking at the tree that is closer the tops are waving and bobbing. Looks to be going west to east.
The wind around here is sometimes very strong. It broke a chunk out of a tree by our house last year. It raises the shingles on our roof.
There is one fewer tree across the street because one broke off and had to be cut down.
So if any of the trees around the property have any loose branches, today they are likely to come down.

I was sitting safely inside, just watching.

If it does come down hope it does not hurt anyone.
Someone yesterday was rather pale and pasty with worry as her son had been hit on the back by a very heavy branch which had come off one of the trees.
Does not seem he is too badly hurt but it can be worrying.
Very strong winds here too they are calling this one la borrasca Gabriel, The Gabriel Storm its already being felt here right now.

It can be scary as with the high winds have already brought huge branches down off these trees around here that are so tall and big.
I don´tknow how her son is I imagine it was just the blow on the back but not much harm done maybe bruised yes.
A cedar tree and is it still there? Or did you have to uproot it altogether.
A lot o people here cut the trees down if they fall and make them into makeshift wooden seats to be put in parks around here.

Almost all of the trees are a good distance from buildings. It is a good thing.

I guess there was nothing loose, nothing came down from that tree or the next one over.

I am glad you do not have to be out much this week. We are good until next Monday as far as needing to go places.

Let us hope the winds won't carry loose branches onto the roof to damage the shingles, or into a window to cause damage there.
One year a tree came crashing down between our house and the neighbors. We were very lucky that it came crashing down between and decided not to lean one way or the other.
It is calm here. Bright and sunny, though possibly cold.

About a year ago part of the cedar on the east end of our house broke off and it hit the roof and slid off. We used the van and a chain to pull it down and to the back yard. It was big enough to be a tree all by itself.

I did not lose any roofing material or any tree limbs that I can see.

Dealing with the wind also probably helps them grow stronger.

@GardenGerty I've put this up before but I think this one sort of succumbed.

You do hate to see them go, but the one that went down was horribly broken and not survivable.
