Do you like people who get late often?

Depending on the type of situation, some people who are late for appointments are understandable.
But when it starts to happen this often makes me a bit annoyed (especially if the subject matter is very important). This gives me the impression that the person is - at least - a little bit sloppy, and also, kinda rude.

It is annoying but more annoying is a trend I have noticed of late people being allowed to get away with being late which encourages lateness without fear of penalty.

One of my ex-boyfriends was always late and I got very annoyed when I had to wait for him every single time. In most cases I don't like it when people are late, but if I know why it happens I don't get annoyed. I once had a friend who was always late, but I knew why (he had OCD, and couldn't leave the house before he had finished all of his rituals)

@WiseGhots Yes, it is not nice wait for people who are always late. I got tired of waiting for my ex, so I changed the way I did things. If I wanted to meet him at 7:30 I asked him to me meet at 7.It usually worked.

When it comes to job interviews, medical appoinments, etc I am on time cause it is something very important so being on time is required. On the other hand when it's a friendly meeting with friends, dates, etc I might be slightly late lol. And when I mean slightly I mean 30 - 45 minutes late. lol :O

It is very rude to be late unless it can't be helped and you let the person know .

Yeah. I can't this when people get late very often with no reason for it.

There are some people I find always late and do not apologize for it. I rarely am ever late. I usually get places early and when I have an appointment they have to make sure they that your appointment is about a hour later and I say I know. They do not have to point it out. What would they say if I am late?
