When I had a website one page was devoted to Missing Kids.

I used to have a website called lookat desktop magazine. It cost me about ten dollars a month to maintain it and for over 15 years I kept that web site up.
But one of the pages I had there was called Lost In America and I gave a link to missingkids.com, a website that supports finding missing and exploited children in America. I would post current posters that I got in my E-mail on a weekly basis and felt like I was helping those lost children get found.
When I think about all those nasty websites that exploit women and such it burns me up. I remember posting an article on personapaper.com, about how much I wish the CIA, the FBI and homeland security would take those sites down and a writer at another site commented by saying, "If you don't like it, just get off it!" - well I got pretty angry with that person and it really made me think about all those pervs out there who enjoy illegal sites that contain images of children or adults doing things that only a deranged and sick mind could even think about.
Missing kids come from all sorts of families, like broken marriages, runaways, kidnappings and abductions. The age of the internet offers both sides of the double edge bladed knife.
The time to do what is best for the internet and protect children and women who have been exploited for so long is yesterday. If you want to find out more about missing kids online, you can read about it from the following link.
As the nation's clearinghouse & comprehensive reporting center for all issues related to the prevention of and recovery from child victimization, NCMEC leads the fight against abduction, abuse, and exploitation - because every child deserves a safe childho

Hey there Jeigh Elle! Well I had to shut it down. I could not manage it and maintain it due to the fact I was way too busy doing other things that took all of my time. But I still have all the files and one day if I get the time to do it, I will create a brand new website and start over from the beginning. For now I am researching abrupt global climate change and this takes most of my time. It might seem odd that I can take time to write here but hey I like to post discussions and keep tabs on people I know here because this is more or less my second life.

@Janet357 , No. I never did. I had to pay every month into it, to keep it up. I never made a single dime from it. But I enjoyed sharing my thoughts, ideas and insights and at the time it was sponsored by Yahoo! and was actually called a personal home page then.

There are many things on the internet that should not be allowed. But those are just sick.

That is why it is so important for our current administration in US government, to work on this problem ASAP.

Glad you kept up that website for all those years. It is a scary thing when children go missing. Thanks for the link.
