I have always been persistant about getting what is owed to me
. That's a trait I had that my husband did not like
. One morning on payday he only had $2 on him and he went to 7 11 and saw a drink that was on sale for $1.79 by the sign on the refrigerator. When he went to register the cashier would not sell it to him, telling him that the sale was over.
He called me and told me what happened and I told him to go back in there that they had to honor that price because they didn't remove the sign. My husband would not do it saying that he didn't want to start a fuss. I then told him that I used to work for 7 11 and I knew to call a regional office of that store. And he told me no!
That night he asked me if I had called them and I replied,"Yes"
Within five days or so we received a letter of apology stating that the reasoning for it was because of exactly what I had told him!
Along with the letter was coupons for some free cups of coffee and fountain drinks
The next payday my husband stopped at well known pizza chain restaurant and picked up dinner that I had ordered by phone. When he got home with the pizza, it didn't have the correct toppings on it making it uneatable for us and our children. I was going to call there and tell them that even though they don't deliver someone needed us to bring our family a new pizza. My husband demanded that I don't instead he drove to a closer by fast food restaurant and got us something else to eat.
. The next day I called the pizza restaurant and spoke with the manager that told me that I should of called them the previous night and they would of gladly had someone bring us our correct pizza! Just like I said.
In late 2017 I purchased a Keurig at a Target store and after about 4 or 5 months it began depositing chunks that were like large sized coffee grounds in the next 3 to 5 cups of hot water I would dispense. The cleaning tool that was supplied with the Keurig was not the proper one for that model of Keurig. I tried many times online to find the phone number for the Keurig company to no avail. When I had owned the Keurig for 11 months I finally found a contact number. I told the kind woman what had happened. She then asked me for the serial number for the machine and I gave it to her. Then it was explained to me that the model had been recalled in 2015! Two years before I had bought it and that the store had no right selling it to me.
Three days later was a box in it of a brand new Keurig in it on my doorstep!!!!!!
I had bought an RCA Tablet and after having it for about 3 months it started not working properly.I emailed RCA and they sent me instructions on how to send it back to them. It did cost me postage.I got it back today.
So we'll see if in 3 months it's still working.

I am absolutely with you on that pizza for sure. That is why I do not like drive throughs and online orders. Management may want to do the right thing but the people who fill the orders get careless.

Yes, but when it is me I always check my orders before leaving, even in the drive up. That manager said for my husband to stop back by there and they will give him a free pizza, but he wouldn't go. He said that he would not embarrass himself by doing that.

That is what I do as well if something is not right. That has happened to me just the other day at Walmart..found some veggies on sale for .80 and they charged me 2 bucks for and I told them it had a .80 sticker so I got it for that price.
I'm so glad that you got a new coffee maker, and all that other stuff you got for calling and telling them.

Thanks and good for you I am glad that you spoke up too and got your veggies for the right price. A few months ago when I was at Giant (grocery store). The milk was marked on sale and when I rang it up in the self check isle it was the regular price. I called the lady over and she went back there and seen the sale sign still up. When she came back I didn't even have to say anything to her, she said to me,"It's free cause the sale sign was still up and you wasted time telling us and waiting for me to go back there."
Yep , keep being persistant to keep and get what we are deserved.
