Serial Killer Documentaries

I was listening to the radio during my drive to work this morning. The radio hosts started a conversation about the Ted Bundy series on Netflix.
The first thing that came to mind was why? Why would we glorify a serial killer with a series about his life? Don't we have a lot better role models out there that are far more deserving of a documentary than a serial killer?

@Amadeo IMO it's sad that it's a huge hit. I don't think there's anything about this person's life that will even come close to justifying why he was the way he was. But that's just my opinion.
I'd much rather see a documentary on someone that over came huge obstacles to become successful.
