Serial Killer Documentaries

I was listening to the radio during my drive to work this morning. The radio hosts started a conversation about the Ted Bundy series on Netflix. The first thing that came to mind was why? Why would we glorify a serial killer with a series about his life? Don't we have a lot better role models out there that are far more deserving of a documentary than a serial killer?

Its a very sick and morbid world that is interested in these types of stories.

@Beaser I feel that if there is too much conversation and emphasis put on such crimes that it becomes more acceptable to society, and that should never ever be.

@Juliaacv I'd agree with that Julia. It's not shocking any more and becomes the norm.

Your not the only one complaining. They have been more.Something like this draw the audience. People find this interesting and nothing to do with the killing. But his life and why did he become this wa. It is a huge hit for Netflix.

@Amadeo IMO it's sad that it's a huge hit. I don't think there's anything about this person's life that will even come close to justifying why he was the way he was. But that's just my opinion. I'd much rather see a documentary on someone that over came huge obstacles to become successful.

But murder is interesting, and radio and TV stations are all about keeping their audiences interested.

@indexer Unfortunately you're right but I'll never watch it. Personally, I don't have any interest in seeing what his life was like or anything that might be used to justify what he did. I'd rather have him disappear from any kind of existence on earth.
