Groundhog Day

Saturday February 2nd is Groundhog Day for 2019. With all the devastating weather in the news lately, what do you think will happen on Saturday?
According to legend, if a groundhog sees its shadow on this day, there will be six more weeks of winter; if it doesn’t, then spring is right around the corner.
Of course, it is all a bit of a joke. If he sees his shadow, we’ll have six more weeks of winter, and if if he doesn’t, it’ll be six weeks till spring, because the dates of the equinox do not change.
Either way, spring will be here eventually, with or without the Groundhog.

Have you heard of Groundhog day before? Have you seen the classic movie? Worth watching again in my opinion.
Directed by Harold Ramis. With Bill Murray, Andie MacDowell, Chris Elliott, Stephen Tobolowsky. A weatherman finds himself inexplicably living the same day over and over again.

I think the majority of the US wants winter to go away. I want one more big snow and I'll be content.
As for the Holiday, It's a cute Holiday but that's all it is. The Groundhog has been wrong before, we've been blasted with more winter when things were supposed to be much more fair.

I haven't watched that movie yet, however I might watch it. As for winter, I hope it goes away soon, so you all can enjoy spring. By the way great picture above!

So, guess it just depends on which way you look at it! I can't wait till spring though, tired of the cold and don't want anymore snow!
