I learned a long time ago that it is better to be yourself than a pale copy of someone else. Do what you do best and don't try to be someone you are not. I think this quote expresses what I mean perfectly: "Stop comparing yourself to other people you're supposed to be unique." You are a unique and important person. The only one you need to please is yourself. If someone doesn't like you it is no big loss, another person will come along that will think you are terrific. You are the best you that anyone can be.

This post is so accurate. A few years ago I used to compare myself to other people, and it was sort of painful not to feel comfortable with myself, and trying to compare or pretend to be somebody else was even worse. Then I learned that I was unique, and a trustworthy person. It took me some time to respect myself and say I am capable of doing stuff. Now I love much more myself and I accept who I am.
