I wish I could stay here, but ...

yes wish I could stay for a long time on here at mylot but seems others manage their time better. I mean most of my time is taken up by trying to do for and take care of myself. Yet they do bring me food and do some help here and there. Just isn't enough.
Seems like some old people like me needs a village as Hillary has been known to say with her book. on children. 
Got up this morning barely able to raise myself as my arm and shoulder has been hurting and freezing up again. Started yesterday. Have been through it before with both arm/shoulders in turn over the years. 
found out it was 50 degrees out and should be warm in my room since my thermometer said 75 but no it feels freezing at that. maybe it's just these old bones.
Some days I try to stay here in between long periods of breaks to try and figure what will make me feel better. I take a lot of different things to deal with pain and such. and had to take Allegra right off the bat. Woke up once last night with Kitty right on my legs sleeping.I left her. stay and went back to sleep
Had another interview yesterday with a case worker that will send out a home maker to clean just my area rooms and bathroom. Interesting I just wonder how that works. 
Some days everything just seems to go so smoothly and others nothing seems right. seems as you get older though there are more and often the former. Like the world is getting way to complicated and beyond my understanding.
One thing good. At least Clay is not arguing so far and daughter is home today and I have not heard him talking to himself and accusing her of jumping into said conversation with himself
I am not so much liking this Celebrity Big Brother. If not for Tom Green and my general nosiness I would stop watching. Kato has that "bed head" thing with his hair.. uuhhgg! and Joey looks sickly these days. They are all just a disappointment.

I have pretty much the same life. Just don't have the home maker that comes in to clean. Have to get on my daughter or grandson will sometimes. It's hard dealing with this life but it beats the alternative. At least for now. Hope your days get better.

you are one that seems to be closest to understanding my plight . 
it is very hard to get any help these days especially when you have no money and neither do your house mates. i get the idea you to are mostly dependent on others to get everything for you. hope you also get a break at some point

@bunnybon7 ......Yes, I am dependent on my daughter and grandson. No break. My daughter is doing a lot better than she was. I thank my lucky stars for that.

I am sorry your shoulder is freezing up, that has to be so uncomfortable. You need one of those electric blankets that you can sit on the couch or lay on top of you in bed. They are smaller than than one that goes on the bed. I don't like this Big Brother either, I don't even know who half of these celebrities are and the woman are so petty. Hope you feel better

yes i only knew 3 of them Kato, Tom Green, and Joey Lawerence . and even they are not as exciting or famous as they once were. i don't know why they even bothered to do this one. but since i have always made it a point to watch them all i am dully sticking through it i do have a heating blanket, small one. have no idea where it is. likely in the garage. no longer able to look through my stuff and daughter don't seem to have time.

@cintol thanks. lately it has warmed up so much outside and inside, now i had to have them turn on the air again. so tired of this crazy weather. not making anything easier.

@bunnybon7 I hear ya, we watch it but with the old ones I watched Big Brother after Dark, this one I have no interest in what they are doing. Its not like the other ones, we aren't excited when it comes on. . I understand, seems our kids just don't have time to do things for us when they get older. I wish you could find it, I am sure it would help

me too. my daughter says it's because i am older and have really thin skin now. i don't know what to do to thicken it. and she says i burn everyone else up. my little thermometer in my room says 75 when i am freezing. the thermostat in the hall stays at 77 but seems hot to them. who knows what to do. just never right. i hope you and family stay nice and warm. and you all will stay happy and healthy. such a lovely family you are.

I'm sorry the old bones are acting old. I hope you feel better soon. It's nice of your caseworker to send someone to clean your rooms. I'm glad there wasn't any fighting.

he used to be my favorite on Blossum but never followed him after that. he sure has changed. i think most of these celebrities were picked because they needed the publicity and the money. none seem to be anyone i have heard much about recently except for the politician and obviously he didn't need the money or publicity that bad compared to the last celebrity big brother and all the others, this one is quite lame. sorry to say

@bunnybon7 I wouldn't know based off the other seasons, but Natalie Eva Marie definitely doesn't need it, as she's doing well in life. And as far as I know, Tamar, the two Olympics and Joey are too.

i wish the docs there'd help ya find the source 'f yer inflammation 'n tackle such sensibly 'nstead 'f "here, take another pill". i hope that'cha do get some help. perhaps 'tis time to banish the cat from yer bedroom? though not the wee ones fault, if 'tis makin' ya ill...jest sayin'. the cat here 'tis been trained to sleep'n her own bed (s) throughout the house. she knows she's allowed to sit'n my chair with me if'n i've either a quilt 'r her pillow there, too. otherwise, nope. i love her, but love to breathe, too. same with the pup - she's her own beds all o'er the place, too.
no idea'n the world how yer daughters relationship 'tis healthy, but i guess such works fer her?
also no idea 'bout the presumed t.v. show'n which ya reference, lol.

usually if i am awake i tell her get in your chair and she listens but if i am fast asleep she sneaks up and i wake later seeing her there. it doesn't happen every night but fairly often.
yes the doctors here are either not very good or else i am just getting worse with everything a down hill spiral . and getting help to little too late. mostly they put it off to age. or genetics and they could be right.

I don't mind longer posts as I tend to write them myself. It would be a little easier on the eyes if you put an extra space in between each of the paragraphs.
One thing that worked well for me for pain was tylenol or the store brand extra strength fast release caps. They were blue and red. Our store had the same ones. I took two of them every six hours for pretty much a whole year and now that my pain is gone for that ailment I've not taken them much anymore. It doesn't seem to work for me for my joints, but did work wonders pretty much for the wound that I had and just got healed last month.
Are you living at home and is it there that you got some help cleaning some of the rooms? You aren't really that old. I'm sixty-six and while I have my issues, I am still the one in my family that gets stuck doing most everything. I'm sometimes cold in my house even though the heat is on correctly. I don't know why that is. We are in the middle of an ice storm and I have a lot of ice to chop through so we can try to get to work tomorrow.

thank you for advice friend. It's appreciated. I have been taking Tylenol for years now. Beginning not to work so well. I am still afraid to try the strong medication but may have to before long.
yes I live at home with daughter in a rented house. long story there. She works and has to have some time to rest. Her 10 yrs boyfriend /whatever lives here too but he is not one to do much at all. I am on constant oxygen from COPD, and have stomach issues always going on too.

Usually the arm and shoulder pain means tour upper back is out of place, you need a chiropractor. I hope you get your space clean as you need it to be.

yes i can hardly wait. daughter just don't have time and her bf don't like doing anything and i can't. i don't think i can afford a chiropractor plus don't know if my old bones can do that.
