One thing that makes me feel nostalgic about Indonesian cuisine is thestreet foods. It feels very good and of course very cheap. Indeed, not all hygiene, Indonesia street foods have their own stories in my life. The thing I like best is dinner on the roadside and the menu is a tent shop. They sell various types of food ranging from chicken, duck to fish. You can choose whether you want to fry or want to burn. My favorite is fried catfish. Usually you can choose a side dish. And my favorite is rice, fried tempeh and fried tofu. For vegetables you will get cabbage and basil leaves. And for drinks, I usually choose hot tea. And then you will get super spicy sauce for to accompany your dinner menu. Then again the price offered is quite cheap, only around 20,000 rupiah or around 1.5 dollars. Very interesting, isn't it?
