As it seems most professors and scientists seem to have a idiosyncrasies or two the famed physicist who was behind the equation "E =mc2" that was a interesting fact in explaining gravity is no different. He actually failed the entrance exam into Polytechnic school in Zurich due to failing in areas other than math and physics. But, he did make it in the following year.
As soon as Einstein came to the US in 1932 J. Edgar Hoover, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation at that time, began spying on him. He not only had his mail read but also tapped his phone and went through his mail. Hoover had a 1,400 page file on the physicist.
He died in 1955 after a abdominal aneurysm ruptured and an autopsy as well as several studies were made on his body. A regular brain weighs about 1,400 grams but his was about 1,230 grams. And, the parietal lobe home to mathematics thought was about 15 percent larger than that of the average person.
Einstein could not stand to wear socks. He shared with a colleague at Oxford that he rarely wore them. He disliked the holes that were always appearing in them.

Of all the information about Einstein that is interesting that he did not wear socks. Thanks for all this information. I did not know a lot of this.

The heating here is not very good so I have them on an awful lot sometimes.

I do not blame him. I hate socks and shoes. Although 100% cotton socks are tolerable to me.
