Yay, the next step to my husband healing is done. Myself, my 4 year old and my husband went to his doctors appointment this morning. My husband has his bandages removed, stitches taken out (6 of them). Then they casted his arm. The kids are bit excited because they have been told they can write on daddy. My 4 year old got to pick my husband cast color. Of course he picked green it’s his favorite color and hey had it. For the next 5 weeks this will be on.

@ShyBear88 That must have been fun the the little one to pick the color and be able to be after or before you to write on the cast but how does your husband feel about it? Why does he need a cast?

My husband had no choice in the matter of a cast. Cast are used for many reason mostly to med bones and tendon. He had a broken tendons they need repair or else he wouldn’t be able to use his hand again. So for him to be use it then went n surgericly and fixed it. The cast is to keep him from twisting his hand, wrist and elbow till those repairs have healers enough for him to push stress on it. His cast often take off this 2 days ago and he is now in a brace and going to be doing PT so he can gain motion and strength back into his hand so he can do work.
