Cool sunset photo?

My friend and I took a hike on the Inspiration Point trail a couple of weeks ago. She said she'd bring her camera, so I left mine at home. This is in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. We timed our hike so we would be able to capture the sunset on our way back, and we took this photo with her camera as the sun was about to set. She sent it to me, and I cropped and edited it, adding a bit of orange, an increasing contrast. Do you like the result? Would you have something like this on your wall? She sells some of her photos, while I don't sell mine. But I like "collaborating' on projects. I wonder if she'll "blow this one up" and try to sell it. If she get some buyers, I should demand a Japanese dinner.

@Moon24 It's from the East Bay Hills, looking over San Francisco. What looks like hills are actually clouds.

Very good photo, the sun always creates great effects. I took this one from the inside and without opening the window. The sky was a strange two tones color.

@TheHorse No, the photo is not retouched. I asked to my husband to move the curtains and I took it, this is what I see when I take my breakfast in the morning.

It looks quite nice. Did you edit/crop it after you took it? Or did you compose the "principle of thirds" into it when you took it?

I always loved California sunsets the most. My older son is a photographer as a hobby and often gives his photos as framed gifts.

They can be pretty amazing here. But I'd think there's be some pretty ones in Florida, with clouds hanging on the horizon even on sunny days (am I right about that?).

I'm not sure. I'll ask my friend. I bought three of hers, but it was partially "support your local artist/friend." I need more people to put nice comments of my latest YouTube videos. Sigh.
