Do you have an external hard drive at home?

Either USB or e-sata (or even SCSI). A hard drive that isn't include the computer has a separate cable and case. Do you have one? What do you use it for? I have one that is my day to day file storage drive and two other drives that are backups of that drive.

I have a few, all USB, I have a full backup of the system on one of them on the others I store data and photos.

@DocAndersen I never needed to reinstall the system from the backup, but I know it's there if needed.

@DocAndersen I have everything on Dropbox which is an online backup so I'll never lose my work.

I have two. One I've had for at least ten years or more and holds my pictures and the rest of most of my document files. I bought a new one in December to mostly hold my business info files, but also to be a backup of the other backup. Did you know there's a way to turn your profile picture around so it faces the right direction?

I do know about the profile picture but it is sideways for a reason! Backups are cirtical@!!!!
