Nowadays, practically everybody has a cell phone, right? I guess so.
However, when it comes to communication (in the real meaning of the word: stablish connections), people seems to be still very divided between typing and talking.
Which option do you prefer?

Talking. I really do not have a nerve to write long messages (and I always like to explain everything nicely)
If I MUST send a message, that's just, really, very short.
p.s This about typing, only applies to the phone!

I prefer the computer and e-mail rather than talking on the phone. I do it because I have to.

I have trouble understanding speech on the phone so I like to text. But I need to have an actual conversation with my kids at times so I can tell how they really are.

It depends what I need to convey. If you talk to someone you have the advantage of being able to being able to use body language and tone of voice to make your meaning clear. You can also watch the other person's reactions. When typing, you have to be careful to make your point clear.

I prefer a human voice. Words are impersonal.

Talk in the phone so that they can hear my reaction if the topic is good then they can hear me laughing and if it is bad they can hear me yelling.

When it comes about some specific situations, talking is better than typing.
