National Cherry Pie Day!

Good snowday to those they had snow like we did. Today is National Cherry Pie Day! I’m not a fan for cherry pie at all. But I do love the song Sweet Cherry Pie.
Nobody in our house eats Cherry Pie in our house we are more of an apple pie family.
Do you like Cherry Pie?

I'll eat it, but not my favorite. I love blueberry pies and most decadent macadamia nut cream pies or chocolate cream pies, but these are not on my current menu for they got too much sugar, so I found some fruit pies that go for 1.29 size of an individual slice little things that's just 3 g or sugar...love them! @oahuwriter I don’t care for ice cream on my pies but on a chocolate cake or cookie sure don’t mind it. We can have get regular ice cream it doesn’t have to less or no sugar for our house. I do have to check the label because a lot go have nuts and wheat in them which two of my children can not have.

Do you eat your pie ala mode? I prefer mine ala mode, but have a bit of a time finding one that's creamy and low in sugar. Safeway's Lucerne had a good ice cream, low in sugar, but I haven't seen it lately. So I end up buying Enlightened, which is so expensive, 3.99 on sale for just a pint of ice cream. Enlightened is very creamy. I loved Kona Coffee Ice cream, but the sugar is too high for me now.
