What's for dinner? February 21

What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know! We are having homemade turkey meatballs in homemade red sauce over whole wheat linguine. I am going to slice up some cucumbers and marinate them in balsamic vinegar to go on the side so we have something green with our meal. I'm doing the meatballs in the Instant Pot since I didn't get home until 6:30 pm tonight to start dinner. Instead of simmering for hours on the stove, they only need 30 minutes. That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Do tell!

Dinner at your house sounds good!! We had pasta too... penne with some kind of sauce that hubby dreamed up. I made garlic biscuits to go with it. As it wasn't a sugar day for me... no one had dessert!!

You dinner sounds so inviting, enjoy this wonderful dinner! Jay had a coupon for sub sandwiches, at Subway! I'm ashamed to say, I didn't cook dinner tonight I selected roast beef with lots of fresh vegetables. Jay chose the seafood sub, with lots of greens over the top. We brought them home, included milk and a cup of coffee.

I made split pea soup in my slow cooker with kielbasa for a smoked flavor and cubed potatoes.

@NJChicaa the kielbasa does not provide too much grease but give a nice smoky taste so it works out fine when no ham or ham bone is available.

turkey meatballs sound good....I haven't had meatballs in a while, so should add that to the menu sometime soon. I just had some bacon and cheese since I was not hungry for a full meal.
