Im not really an eater of it since i dont know how to prepare it. The last time i ate it was many years ago and i puked because of its taste. My grandmother loved to eat it raw. But anyway, since i know how nutritious oysters are and as someone who is not getting young anymore, i have become a patronizer of sea foods which our friend deliver to us regularly. But today, he offered me these oysters and they are still muddy that i need to clean them. I dont like to eat them raw so my friends, how do you prepare your oysters?

@fluffy69 Oysters kilpatrick are nice. The oysters are served with bacon and a sauce of some sort.

I do not know with certainty what he means by oysters, but here in Venezuela we usually eat a type of these marine products called mussels that are really delicious. They are boiled so that they harden and can be removed completely from their shells. You can eat well with a little lemon or you can also make a stew. They are not buried but stuck to the stones.

@karibe it must be a very rich island, so pearls there must be cheap.

@fluffy69 Ok, yes, very well, I know what it is, but I have not eaten it. Here in Venezuela, we have an island called Margarita that belongs to the state of Nueva Esparta next to two smaller islands. The island of Margarita is also called Isla de las Perlas, due to the fact that many valuable pearls have been extracted from its coasts.
