$2 per Article (350 to 450 words): Seriously?!?

Let me share where I got my essay editing stunt. It is embedded on FB posted by my former manager. Since I decided not to work with them, I stumbled upon a writing job on FB today. It means that I am a job hunter online again.
I was being offered to do this job with the rate of $2 per article and at least, the composition should be 350 to 450 words. The main job is to re-write or rephrase the article's content. I took the time to think about it. Then, I realized it is not worth it. $2 is not enough on making an article based on the original article's content.
"Would you accept this offer?"
"What do you think about a ghostwriter?"
"Are you a ghostwriter?"

I would do that...perhaps
I love that photo.
No I am not a writer, or a ghost writer.
Good luck now hope you find something worthwhile Shavkat.

@Shavkat Yes you can do much better I am sure. It is kind of a low dollar.

I imagine that the idea is to give your client the means to republish something and claim the credit without risking being accused of plagiarism. It is interesting that he/she is willing to pay $2 for somebody to do the donkeywork for them - they are clearly going to get more than that for their efforts!

I've been writing here for ten years I never really grown that much in terms of writing.
Good luck to those who are good at it.

That is very little for the time you would have to spend rewriting the content.

That's why freelancers that work with are so frustrated.

I would not take that offer, and I don't really like the idea of ghost-writing. If I write something, I want to be paid and credited properly for it. I actually did turn down something similar. They wanted to pay very little for something that would be a collaborative work where I would not be credited. It was not worth my time.

I have a company that I do that on occasion, if I want to and have time. I make a minimum of one cent per word. I do not think I would want less.

I am on iwriter and have written articles there. I think I could call myself a ghostwriter. Of late I have not visited that site. They pay around the same amount and more if you are promoted.

@Shavkat We have come to that point , that we are having too much of everything, we have to just choose what to retain. Earnings will not be good anymore, when you just do it for the sake of earning.
Here, I am not after the earnings anymore, but for the friendship and interaction I like doing with my friends here, like you.

That sound interesting. Sadly, I am not good at rewriting someone's work. If only I'm good at it I will give it a try.

If the pay is higher I will accept it. And another thing to consider will be the credibility.

I haven't tried to be a ghostwriter. But I did some documentation and created my own book. A book that wasn't published yet. I think it is a legit one. However, I didn't see the site. It is still in the process of hiring and selection. Thus, there is no chance of checking it out.
