The Move is Over

I moved over the weekend and it's finally over, well still a little unpacking still to do but at least the moving is over. It really was the move from hell, I think it is the worst move I have done. We got the truck Saturday morning at 10 am went to my storage unit and packed up the truck done by 11 am and ready to go to stop number two, on time for my guess at how long it would take. The truck would not start had to call Uhaul road side assistance. This is where it all went wrong. A hour and a half later the guy finally shows up, he changes the battery and nothing which I told the lady on the phone it was not the battery. He bangs on the starter and we get it started. He then wants me to follow him to his shop to change the starter. He does have one in stock so he has to go get one, he finally changes gets back and changes it. In all for him to get us back on the road took almost 5 hours. So much for getting this move done before dark. By time we got everything moved and the truck back and got back to the new place it was 2:15 am. With boxes and furniture all over the placed I found a place on the floor and went to sleep. I spent Sunday and Monday trying to unpack and get the place looking somewhat organized. I am still so tired and worn out, I think I am done moving things myself, I think next time I hire movers to move, I'm getting to old for this. Hope your weekend was better than mine.
