Belated Happy Womans day to all of you and all the women in your home. I was not online the whole week so could not wish you yesterday. How did you celebrate the day? I was at work and we had a beautician and a hair dresser in office to give all the women a makeover. Felt good getting the special treatment at work. Anything special your end for women yesterday<

Women have protested more than celebrating this day yesterday.

@LadyDuck Their demands are reasonable. It should be the same worldwide.

@mayka123 They protested to obtain equal rights as the men. Same wages, same rights.

It is nothing special. Fortunately we had half day off from work. At least it is better than working for a whole day

I had planned to join the parades but ended up feeding horses instead ... I did go in the parades last year and felt a bit out of place. I like people, I even like lots of people, but I don't like crowds like that. And then my friend and I ended up between a communist group and a not-communist group and they shouted at eachother through us the whole parade. Interesting in a way, but slightly awkward.

So the horses kept you busy all day?

@KlyliePot Mix between parade and demonstration. Some people go there to show banners and celebrate different womens clubs and organisations, others go there to demonstrate against unequeal pay etc.

@mayka123 First work, then horses. Lots of discussion at work but treats like that aren't usual here.
