Well things sometimes just slip out of mind. I got this invitation a month ago. My friend and one of ex colleagues at work is starting a Montessori school and day care. She told me to keep this day for her inauguration a month back. She even reminded me of this a few days back. I somehow mistook it to be next Saturday. She has shifted to other part of the city. And the place is too far for me. I told her that I will prefer a cab rather than driving as the route is not familiar to me. I just received her call that she would book a cab for me and asked if 3 PM would be okay??? That just made me realize that it's today. Now I have just a little more than 2 hours to get ready... So I need to hurry up and get ready. I thought of gifting her with a gift voucher of a good bookstore that has several branches across city. She can make use of it to buy books/stationery items for her new school. I just requested my husband to go and pick it from the store in our neighborhood. I am already delayed and much appreciate his help. The school will be functional from June. So now I will hurry up finishing my cooking for both lunch and dinner. I know it will be late by the time I come back. Thankfully I have one dress ready for it. We have tea and snacks there. So I would rush up! Catch you all later! I have notifications to clear and all new discussions to read. I will do that late in the evening or post dinner. Take care.
