Waiting and Waiting

I have been watching and waiting for April the giraffe to have her baby in Adventure Animal Park in New York state. Last time, she kept us waiting for weeks. This time looks like a repeat. Whenever she has it, I hope it is healthy and beautiful. Did you watch her have baby Tajiri in 2017? Are you waiting now for the new babe? I hope it is a girl. What do you predict? Photo by Pixabay.

@akalinus I have seen giraffe twice in Kolkata zoo. It was a grown-up,adult giraffe.I have never seen a baby giraffe.

You can see the pregnant giraffe and her baby (if she ever has it) on youtube. I just searched for April giving birth, 2019 on the youtube search bar.

@akalinus I'll watch it.Giraffe looks beautiful and with its baby would look more beautiful.I have never seen a baby giraffe.

April had a boy in 2017. His name is Tajiri and he is now in his own barn with a girlfriend. No one knows what the new baby will be and if it will ever be born.

That is what I hope. People say that she is carrying it differently than she did the boy, Tajiri. I hope it is perfect and healthy no matter what it is.

I think it is awesome that the park allows it to be shown on FB and youtube, and news programs. I have learned so much about giraffes. It is kind of addicting to watch.
