Does our Creator bill us for his spread?

We have created a world where we have to pay for everything, nothing is free.
However, our creator has given us all the basics for free, everything for the taking. We need to do nothing, okay almost! It starts with the air we breathe and the spread that is replenished all the time. We have to just reach out and eat and, agreed, value-add a little.
If we stuck to the basics, then we have the smoothest ride, taking in the sights, all our lives. In fact, we don’t require much – it is the more of wants than the needs that invite misery.
Agreed, we have come a long way from time immemorial but will it not serve us well to roll back our excesses? Let us do it for future generations. Our forefathers toiled to give us comforts that they did not enjoy. They were building but we are more into destroying! What karma and insolence!
No harm in taking a pause to count our blessings and whether we deserve them. The law of cause and effect will not spare us; that which is built-in the creative process.
If you are the Creator, Provider, how will you feel about the present state of affairs of our world and our role in it?

I often think that every organism on this planet lives in harmony with nature. It takes and gives back. Sadly we as humans have been only taking it so far and not giving it back. We have treated Nature so badly for our selfish needs.

Sadly, we have developed an entitlement mentality that we can get away with "murder".
I believe life has a deeper meaning and purpose, and karma will kick in sooner or later.
We have enough sense to become a co-creator and that is what is intended but, sadly, we fail to rise to the occasion - siva

@Shiva49 You have very well put it. Nature has already started showing its furious face in form of storms, tsunamis, land slides etc. All this global warming and climatic changes have already started to have negative impact.

It's a shame that mankind doesn't learn from its mistakes. We continue to take and take without replenishing, and one of these days we will all be very sorry. If I were the Creator or Provider, I would be shocked and horrified to see the world as it is now. I try to do my part, but it is a drop in the bucket.

I have a view the original spark is inside us to guide and remind us what is right from wrong.
We all know when we go wrong and when our actions tend to destroy, then they boomerang on us sooner or later.
We are like a guest here and should observe basic rules so that those who follow have a good life too - siva

@Shiva49 yes we can lead by example in our small or big ways. I try to tell people not to waste food as well as electricity, though not all take it in a good manner.

I wish all of us thought like this. We have very little water here and i see people washing their cars and their vehicles it pains me to no end. They have the money to buy so they waste water, what if there is no water at all.. does anyone stop to think? I think not. We are a greedy people we not only want more but we are wasteful of all our resources as well.

I have seen how callous people can be just because they can live it up.
Water is very precious and we should never waste it. In fact, all the resources are to be cherished.

I was reading a book where one lady recalled her life on another planet far, far away.
The lifestyle there was all were working for the betterment of one another.
She just could not adjust to our lifestyle here.
Yes, we lose the plot of life and we end up scoring own goals in the end to lose the match of life lock, stock, and barrel! siva

You're right. We created the "world" because of our natural attribute as a sinful one. The scripture is correct when it says a natural man is enemy to God.

If I were the Creator and Provider I would be most unhappy with the way most people live their lives.

@Shiva49 I would not tolerate this wanton destruction forever and I think our Creator is about ready to set things right one day soon.

State of the world
Who is responsible for the way the world is right now?
Love lives in the world at all times.
The state of the world simply depends on how much of this love the people of the world are living from on average.
So each individual act of loving always affects this average too.

@Shiva49 Yes, selfishness always kerbs our love. I don't think anything could lift us from this rut, except a leader who loves. We need an unselfish leader to emerge, but is this possible. I hope so.

@innertalks We have had leaders from time to time to open our eyes to endless possibilities.
One such should arouse us from our reverie of endless entitlement.
United effort, and not working at cross purposes, is the foundation to build on.

"The Earth still looks good from a distance, but what does it look like up close?" Yes, Steve, that reflects what our astronauts highlight from up above.
Our shortsightedness and selfish nature are overriding the inexhaustible love innate in us. We are, sadly, miserly with the latter. Only love and compassion can expand our consciousness but we are now stuck in a rut of our making stymying our true potential - siva
