I'm thankful for days when I'm able to do online work in the morning, after I've dropped off my kids to school, and in the afternoon when we're all home and taking it easy just before dinnertime.
Today is one of those lovely days. I got to finish an article this morning and submit it to the editor for review. Afterwards, I did a few chores then took a nap after an early lunch. I drove to the grocery at 2 p.m. to get a few stuff and then went to pick up my kids at 3:30 p.m.
We're all home now and resting. I've done a bit of dishes and yard work. Now I'm back at my netbook --- just myLotting :) Well, this isn't really *online work* but this is something that I enjoy and lets me earn a few cents.
Do you have a specific schedule for your online work? Or do you go online whenever you feel like?

that's good to know. it's helpful to follow a routine or schedule when we're trying to be productive.

@almostoveryou When you work online, there is no double pay.
But I have one boss who did pay me double for rush jobs because he needed it urgently and I worked late nights and on a weekend for doing up his urgent work for him.

I'd take the weekend work if I'd be paid double. :) But maybe for a limited time. Weekends are sacrosanct even for the hardworking freelancer.

For me it depends on when I get my assignment, lately, a lot of them have come in the evening so I usually try to get it done before I go to sleep.

I don't really have any online work to do and so whenever I feel like using my computer are my times. Do you like writing articles?

not sure about being organized and balanced (as i can be so disorganized and lazy); but i try to stick to a schedule when i'm well and able, and when there are no pressing errands.
i draft/write my articles on weekdays and usually edit/submit MWF, if circumstances permit. it's a very flexible schedule since i'm highly interruptible, being the one in this household who does most errands and chores.
sadly i am no longer that mean writing machine that i used to be. motherhood trumps most things (not complaining). i am grateful for these times that i'm able to peck on my keyboard and churn articles and still get good feedback from my editors. :)
