With the exception of college books, I'm reading a book by Stephen King, "The Shining".
I'm very surprised by this book because it's infinitely better than the movies. I'm reading it slowly so that I can better enjoy this immersive story.
How about you? Reading something good?

I am reading The Remains of The Day by Kazuo Ishiguro which is written in the point of view of a butler at the time that the service industry drastically changed.

@Marilynda1225 I recommend it. The butler goes into great details on things but without boring you. He establishes for you the household and the running of it. It's very much in his point of view, which some might consider limited. I've been told that he learns a lesson as the book goes along, but I haven't yet got to that part. I was just reading some of it a moment ago, before I decided to peruse mylot.

I have read The Shining. I actually have not seen the movie.
I recently read "The Year of Fog," by Michelle Richmond. It is not a new book, I got it at a thrift store. One reason I like it is that it is set in San Francisco. She describes a lot of landmarks I am familiar with.
The story is about a woman who loses her boyfriend's daughter. The girl goes missing while in her care, and the whole book is searching for the child. I won't give away any more of the story.

Yes, I'm reading the Strawberry-shortcake Murder, by Joanne Fluke. It's pretty good, but quite similar to all her other mystery books.

I am familiar with the book. I have not read it. I am reading a book and cannot remember the name but it is good. It is about a meteorite.

i'm still rereading Harry Potter 5. Sometimes I get in a mood where I read a book in 3 days, other times it takes me 3 months just to open the book again
