Doordash craziness

Over an hour ago and still our food hasn’t come. When my husband contacted them on where are food was because this is the longest they have ever taken with someone we’ve order. That someone came picked up the food at first they said our order was never made but the places we order from says it did. The one person hung up on my husband so he had to call back again. Now they said they had issues us a refund and reorder our food. But of course we have to pay again for the same thing. So far while we are still sitting here waiting for the food we order we have gotten 2 notification both saying our food was being made 15 minutes a part. My husband has asked for them to fire whomever picked up our first order and took it because of course they are not being it. We would go get it ourselves, but I don’t feel well and my husband isn’t allowed to drive. So I’m hoping our food actually gets her.

Sorry to hear about that, that would be so frustrating! I have never used one of these programs....but not sure I'd want to!

Normally we get our stuff. We like door dash because they have a lot of coupons. I’m just not well today to do the the cooking so we just decide to do this. From a different places at that.

@ShyBear88 That's good that normally you do get your stuff, and they have coupons. Sorry for this bad experience with it though.

It sort of sounds as if the person who picked up your first order decided to keep it for themselves. I would have been so mad. We've never used this service before, or any like it. I guess because we aren't sure what to expect. Like, do you tip the driver upon delivery? We always pay cash for our food being delivered as well, and I know you have to use a debit card.
I hope you feel better soon.
I also hope the food gets there soon.

There is no tip but they get a small portion of what you paid for the food in there pocket. We got the food. I just wanted hush puppies since I’m not feeling well. We typically don’t have an issue but this is the first time we have order form this places. Every where else they seem find when we have tried its

That is a terrible way to run a business. I sure hope you get your food soon. In fact, you should get that food with no extra charge or any charge but I know that things do not work that way in this world. Enjoy it when it comes.

Typicaly it isn’t even with pizza it doesn’t happy. This one is the first in all fk the years of having food delivered. I’ve had waiters charged us more or put a different type on after we have left and wrote a type.
