A Warm Thunderstorm

This is one of the things I love about my new home state of North Carolina. Sometimes we have a dramatic thunderstorm, but the temperature is 75°.
When it first started raining there were many robins, maybe 20, bathing in a puddle outside my window. When it started raining harder though, they went for cover.
Now the rain and thunder have subsided, and there is only a gentle sprinkle.

We did not have the thunder but did have the warm rain. It was pleasant enough, but we do prefer the sun!

Warm storms are definitely better than cold ones.

Rains is good to water the plants especially dry lands like ours but thunder is not safe because it accompanys with lightning.
