Lizard got trapped in my kitchen sink

A lizard got trapped in our kitchen sink!! When I went there to wash a dish, I saw a lizard lieing still on the sink basin. Mom said she saw two lizards fighting on the wall before and might one of them fell in the sink. I clicked my fingers near it but it didn't respond. Even splashing water to it went in vain. Later we tried to scoop it up with the rear end of the ladle. At the first touch of the ladle it jumped out and frantically looked for an exit. After various attempts, finally it managed to get over slippery slopes of the sink and be free. The image is of low quality as it got in some remote corner now.

@Sojourn not terrified of them but certainly wouldn't want to find one wandering around my house. My area of the United States lizards aren't found but people do buy them in the pet stores.

I find them really disgusting. Luckily I don't have them in my house. Yes sometimes one comes in my garden and from there manages to come to bathroom on our terrace.

You captured the image well. I'm glad it was free. They are useful creatures to have in the environment. (I think they east mosquitoes?)

@Gillygirl I have seen that in real life. It hypnotises the cockroach first and then preys on it .

No, . They crawl the walls in the houses here but nobody keeps them as pets. The interesting thing is we can see them catch cockroaches at our home during the summers. It seems that the cockroaches become hypnotised by their sight.
