I’ve had the flu twice this year and currently in the middle of my second one. It’s so exhausting to be exhaused all of the time. I’ll have energy for a little but then hit that I need to lay down go back to sleep. This can last up to 7 days. I’m reviving well just the Tim so darn tired all of the time. I’ve been sleeping a ton thanks to my husband talking care of everything for me. Good news is I’m not longer contagious just overwhelmed with tiredness.
My hungrier comes and comes so I try to eat when I can to help move thing flu along. As well as liquids.

I don't get sick that often, but I've noticed that I've gotten older that when I do get sick, it lasts longer and longer. The last time I got the flu, it felt like I was sick for close to a month. It's frustrating when you feel like you are on the mend, but your energy levels are just sapped.
Anyway, I hope you get fully better soon, and glad to hear the worst is behind you!

Thanks! I feel a lot better today. Still a little bit foggy but I think I got most of the drainage out this morning.

@ShyBear88 Even on good days I'm always a little foggy! haha That's what happens when you are a night owl and have to get up for work every day at 4:00am.

The flu is contagious for 5-7 day I’m past that point and no longer running a fever so there for I’m no longer contagious but the after flu does take a while to go away.
