We Are On The Road

Hi All, please forgive me if I haven't been responding to your comments. I am trying to do a little something tonight but we are two days into our drive home and frankly, I am exhausted. Al drive day one and today he didn't feel well enough to drive so I did the 314-mile drive. We arrived here in Wilson North Carolina at about 3:30 p.m.Luckily there is a very good hamburger joint within walking distance so we didn't have to drive out to eat.
I have been writing for some assignments that I have been getting, I would rather not have the pressure of writing while traveling but unfortunately we can't always choose when opportunity calls. I really can use the money I am earning so my paid writing is coming first.
Tomorrow we will make it to Virginia where we will stay for three days while visiting friends. I am looking forward to that. On Monday night we will be in Wilkes Barre, PA and then on Tuesday, we will arrive home. I will be very glad to sleep in my own bed, I was not impressed with the one I had last night.
I am going to try to catch up a little and then I am going to sleep. If Al can drive tomorrow, I can MyLot a little as we drive along.

I don’t really mind the drive usually but this time it is a little rough, feeling rested right now

Believe it or not, I didn't take many pictures this trip, I drove two legs so I was occupied with paying attention.

Have you ever considered installing a dash cam @BelleStarr ? As much as you get to travel it would be fun to see what kinds of shots it would get you, well to me anyway, I love looking at pictures.

We arrived home on Tuesday and no, not really. We are so tired, it is a long drive and Al is a little off. I hope to be back in the swing of things soon though.

@jaboUK Yes but we need to buy a car for Florida and there is not a really convenient airport but yes, it may have to become an option.

I figured out years ago if I only moved my eyes and not my head I could do things in the car, it was the head movement that made me sick.

@JudyEv The first thing I actually did was crochet and it shocked me; avoid looking out the side windows that movement can make you sick in my experience. But yes I can read I just keep my head facing forward and only move the eyeballs lol good luck

My phone is usually fine in the car but typing takes a lot longer on a small phone. Lol and I make lots more mistakes lol
