Yesterday my family did a thing and got a second ferret. I wasn’t planning on getting a second one but my husband was already planning on a second one when we went to the pet store. He was hoping they would have more in and when we walked in. There they had 4 cute little baby ferrets. 3 light colored ones and 1 dark colored one. At first I said no but those pleading eyes of my husband and the kids I just couldn’t say no. In the end my husband is right a second would for our 1 would be best. They could play with each and keep each other company and this also helps there life span longer. They are both fixed so don’t worry we won’t be having any other little ferrets running around. We now ha as light colored and a dark colored ferret. One female and one male. We are calling the second one Casper because of his white face.

They are perfectly cute. I think it is a good idea to have it in a partner.

@Shavkat neither can. I stated above that they where both fixed so they have been nurtured and spades.

@ShyBear88 I have seen them before but never thought of them as a pet. So what is it like to own one? What do they eat? Do they let you pet them?

I’ve had ferrets in the past but they are a lot like cats but smaller. They eat a ferret mixed that we get at the store they eat mostly meat some times pieces of eegs. Yes they do let you, pet and hold them. Right now our smallest one can only be handled by adults till he has his next rabies shot.
