@Shivram59 Yes, fortunately it isn't against the rules to do that. When like to talk the conversation can move in many directions. Many of conversations start at one place and end somewhere else.

@Porcospino Right.When you create a thread,you first talk about the topic of the post.The person at the other end responds to it and you comment back on their response.Gradually the conversation moves to other things and thus a thread is created.

@Sreekala Now I feel relieved of my doubt that I had been doing something that is against the spirit of the site.What happened actually was that I and my friend responded to some of each other's posts and from there the interaction began.Gradually the topics of the posts we had responded to were left somewhere far behind and the interaction moved far away from the original topics.A couple of days back a doubt sneaked into my mind.I asked myself whether we were interacting or...and then I decided to start this discussion.....Thanks a lot for removing my doubts.

@marguicha Yes,we have been talking about a lot of things including the weather in our areas,our likes and dislikes.our day-to-day activities,festivals, our families,our future plans etc etc.Topics of our respective posts are left behind .

@yoalldudes So far as I know, nobody knows about mylot algorithm.I was afraid that me and my friend with whom I have been interacting are violating the spirit of mylot.Now I know my fear was baseless.
