It is Modi Sarkar-I 's one of final achaivements- Anti-satellite weapons (ASAT). Credit goes to India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Modi govt conducted Mission Shakti on 27th March 2019, it's Historic day for India. A successful A-SAT (Anti-Satellite) missile test was conducted from Dr. Kalam Island. With this test, India is 4th Super Power with USA, Russia, and China. In 1982, India gave formal consent to the Outer Space Treaty, 1967. This treaty only prohibits use of WMD, so India didn't break it's rule either. Former ISRO chief G Madhavan Nair and Former DRDO chief VK Saraswat claimed that India was able to do this decade ago; but then UPA government refused to support the project; only Modi Govt sanctioned it and provided Budget. Conclusion:- India needs a Prime Minister who Makes India Great; not someone who sleeps and Wink in Parliament and promises money or freebies if voted to power.

Interesting political opinions have cropped up all over the internet just in time for elections. If we can stay secular and democratic that will be a major achievement.

We have been so since ages. We are a proud secular country and negative propaganda don't beat that. But definitely a strong independent nation is the need of the time. Only a strong nation can be democratic, secular and independent in real sense. And also peaceful.

@arunima25 Even I do not agree with many of Modi Govt's decisions; but we do not have any other option and this govt is at least making India strong.

@yugocean Yes I would agree that this government has taken few tough and strong decisions on many fronts and that is a positive thing and much needed one. That might not have gone well with people who play safe with populist decision and do all bad to country in garb of being goodie goodie peaceloving secular image.

Decision making is some fast in this government than previous one. Indeed during UPA government everything was in hand of Sonia Gandhi. No one minister have free hand. Now situation is differ every minister have freehand but he accountable. Earlier previous government had fear that if they took some hard step against Pakistan than he may be used nuclear bomb. Now Modi is proved it that noting will happen. Now country have not fear of Pakistan's nuclear bomb.

It is more like, UPA was afraid of losing Muslim vote-Bank if they act against Pak; now BJP do not care of that, so it use free hands and Surgical strikes.

I had read about the satellite killer last night on a defense forum, good so long as it's used for freedom and democracy and not against smaller and weaker nations.
