Daisy Wants Her Time In The Limelight / myLot

In my first post today, I attached a picture of my dachshund Bella. Above is a picture of my other dachshund, Daisy. Bella is 11 years old and is chocolate brown and tan. Daisy is a reddish blonde and is 3 years old. I've had Bella since she was 1 1/2 years old. She had been abused. We got Daisy when she was 8 weeks old. I love all animals but dachshunds are my favorite breed of dogs. They aren't the right dog for everyone. They can be very vocal ( talking, barking), hard headed and stubborn. They can be grumpy and a little snippy at times. But, they are the most lovable little creatures I have ever seen. They love to be loved and be the center of attention. We belong to them, not the other way around.

That's just like my cats, they own me Beautiful shot of Daisy. Both are beauties, I forgot to mention that in the post that has Bella's photo.

They really do, don't they? They picked me and now own me. But, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Aww, Bella is adorable....

My girls are also very vocal, it can annoying, especially if I am trying to sleep.

Yes, it really can be. Daisy doesn't bark much unless someone comes to the door. Bella barks at any and everything. She is very territorial and protective.

She has grown up since the last time I saw a photo of her, but still beautiful. Poor Bella I did not know she had been abused. People who abuse animals should be severely (really severely) punished.

She is 3 now and is about an inch or two taller than Bella. Yes, Bella was abused and the worst part was it was by a relative. Still makes me angry

and I haven't spoke to that person since it happened.
