Annoying Amazon seller drama

How y’all doing today? Here in Minnesota it is Friday, 1233Pm and 36 degrees F. Jumping on the treadmill for 20-30 minutes before starting to get ready for my early evening shift starting at 330P.
I use Amazon a lot and rarely have any issues but I am encountering a super annoying one currently. I started an EMT course (Emergency medical technician) and required, of course, is a textbook for it. Currently I am in their Phase 1 class?m, which is online until June and then will be an “in real life” skills class before verification.
I ordered this textbook back on Feb 8th. I didn’t realize it at the time, but it stated estimated delivery time was between March 12-March 28th. I got antsy a week ago and asked the seller for their tracking number, in which they stated they had none since they use “bulk shipping” through UPS... I figured i might have accidentally ordered from an international seller, which understandably would take much longer than domestic, and no. They ship from Texas. So what the heck is taking so long?
I emailed the sales person on Amazon who stated they would “look into it”. Now I am burdened with wondering if I should be ordering another copy ($70) and then sell this one or get a refund should it ever arrive. But then, knowing my luck, the two would arrive at the same time.
I am getting antsy because there are 20 some odd textbook chapters to read and assignments, and I don’t want to fall super far behind.
One thing I am not though, is patient! Ugh!
You have any bad luck with sellers like this?

I'm not patient either. With no tracking number it could be anywhere and it could arrive soon or not.
