Twin birthday party invite

My 6 year old son was invited to one of our neighbors twins birthday party. There twins are in the same grade as my son and they have both been in his class since kindergarten and we invited them to our party earlier in the year.
The kids got to swim and my son hates water so he stayed mostly in the baby pool area which was fine with me so I could sit and just watch him. Then they got so basketball or climbing wall. My son didn’t want to do the wall so he did the basketball for a bite.
Now he is sitting eating pizza and having a sprite while he waits for cupcakes.
