It's one of those mini ones that I got from the dollar bin's at target years ago. It has printer paper that I cut up, it's what we write our lists on.
At the top I've written DT Stuff. I know I need a cloth bag, I want to get some more mouthwash and I am going to see if they have toothbrush bristle guards.
Oh, and I need to get more travel bottles, I'm not sure where the others have gotten off too.
This is what I am doing today. I've also read some, been online some, and watched television. I am now watching victorian candies being made. Sometime today I will start the process of deciding which books to take with me, or perhaps I'll wait until after I get back from the thrift store..
How has your Sunday been?

I spent it doing some laundry loading the dishwasher, washing the kitchen floor listening to my audio book and mylotting. Have fun at DT!

I need to do some more laundry I think. I actually need to text my friend to find out how many days I'll be at her house, I want to make sure I have plenty of food and books. I'll have my laptop, but still... Oh I should get a bubble bath at DT! she has a bath-tub, ours has needed reparing for ages..

@simone10 House / pet sitting, yes.
We dont' have access to the bath-tub here. The water hasn't run hot in years and we haven't gotten it fixed (it's not been on our top concerns)... I bought some bath salts and will soak one day when I'm at her house.

If you have empty medicine containers they work good to hold things while traveling. I use them to put hair things in, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, cotton swabs etc.

@ScribbledAdNauseum yes I saw a video of the straw travel packs like that on Facebook some time ago.

Wish we had some. We put coins in ours and they are all full.
I was telling someone else that if I can just find the other travel size container, I won't have to buy any new ones. Actually, I could just put some conditioner in a ziplock and then cut a hole in the bag when I go to condition my hair... That's not a bad idea.
Oh, I've also seen where people get plastic straws, put things like spices, q-tips, shampoo and conditioner in them then take a lighter and melt them shut... Have you seen that done before?

@shaggin What a neat idea too. I'm guessing you can probably exert pressure on either side and it pop back open, but I don't know.

Apparently. I actually know where one is, if I can find another then I won't have to buy any more to replace it. I have shampoo and body wash at her house, I just need to bring my conditioner, which I'll do in travel bottles.

@celticeagle I just messaged my friend to make sure I knew which days... I think I am going to just put the conditioner in a ziploc and then cut the end of it before I get in the shower at her house for the first time.
It will save me money and I can get other things I'll need or want.

@LadyDuck That's quite odd. Maybe it was just a 24 hour virus? Did he have stomach issues?

@ScribbledAdNauseum He feels better, I still wonder what happened, because he had a serious fever and now it's normal.

@Hannihar I won't actually be spending any time with them. They will be on a cruise, I am there to take care of their animals.

Bob had an early nap, then went to church with me. We ate a light lunch and went out for some shopping before his basketball game. It is not late at all, but I want to go to bed.

It doesn't feel like it's Sunday, atleast not to me. What was your lunch? I had breakfast but had a bag of puffed rice crisps for a snack before supper.

I've been thinking alot about my own contentment as well. It seems I hide away in novels a lot, and I havent' decided whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.
I know you have had a lot on your plate lately.

That was a good thing to do. My Sunday was tiring because we put up a new wall paper in the dining.

I'm sure it was well worth it. It's always hard work to do things like that but always satisfying once it's all said and done. I am preparing for pet sitting for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (I think) which is why I am making these lists.
