Happy April Fool's Day

Good morning all! I hope everyone had a great evening. I was so tired last night that I started nodding off around 8 but didn't go to bed until 10.
Well, another month has gone by and it is April Fools Day. Does anyone here celebrate this day! I know when I was working, fellow employees would try and prank you so you had to be on your toes.
Now that I am retired, I don't have to worry about it. Sometimes my brother will try and fool me and there have been times he has caught me off guard. Of course when that happens, he thinks it's so funny. Are you going to try and prank someone today?

No pranks going on around here-I don't think anyway. My kids love pranks so they might try to get over on me somehow! Lol.

I think the only person who would get excited about April Fools Day would have been my dad! Completely out of character for him, but every year he was up before everyone else so that he could put his plans into action. Miss that lol... always silly little jokes he would play!!

@Hate2Iron my Dad was like that too only it was Christmas not April Fools.

The day went well and luckily nobody did a prank on me today. Seemed like no one bothered to do it it's either it's not a fad here or they're just too engrossed to wait for their salary that never came until the close of office.

happy April to you too. hope this month will go well for us all. yes when I worked and even yrs. before that people played pranks
once when my cousins visited they said they bought me some cookies in like a cellifane pouch and said try one .I was 10 yrs old and tried one. tasted awful. and they laughed and said those are dog treats. April fools.

I am usually pretty good at pranking people on April Fools Day, although some have backfired on me. Maybe I'll write a post about one in particular.
But for me, no April Fools pranks this year, as I am currently recovering from knee surgery and have taken the week off from work to recover. It's hard to pull pranks on others when you're stuck at home barely able to walk!

@simone10 Yes, I am normally one who would pull pranks, but because I was out with knee surgery during April Fools this year, I didn't have a chance to put together a good prank.
