Ever since my brother had that Fish Pond, He never bother to clean it up nor change the water.
Because of that, he kept loosing Fish every couple of weeks. But last Sunday he finally made time and asked me for help in cleaning the pond.
Took a couple of hours though, compare to cleaning the Aquarium. I realized you can't just clean a 332 gallon pond on your own.
Sadly, Even after a day he still lost a few fish. I think it has already something to do with over stocking and lack of acclimating the Fish.
But while I was thinking of that Pond, I was imagining myself being on a Jacuzzi
Hope you're doing fine today.

@Letranknight2015 That might help one way to cool down water is they are constantly flowing and is aerated. Stagnant water tends to increase temperature.

Hello @rsa101 For now we are going to this state and won't put any plants. Yes, maybe it's better if we put tarpaulin

@rsa101 that faucet is actually part of the areation, it has water agitation.

It's difficult to clean because it's below or just sightly above ground so it's difficult to siphon, I think using a small pump similar to the ones used in the overhead filter would make it easier if I may suggest..
Fish kill is common when temperature is this hot even in bigger ponds due to oxygen depletion.

@Letranknight2015 or put more floating water plants, it would give oxygen and serve as shade.

Hello @louievill He has a powerful water pump that actually does it in reserves and pushes the water out. Oh, yeah I forgot about that. Maybe they need the tarpaulin or roof.

I am glad that he did it finally. Why are they dying?? Is it due to overcrowding??
The picture is really nice.

Hello @arunima25 At first I thought it was the water quality, then over crowded because of so many fish. But now i realized maybe it's the temperature.
