Some posts keep me thinking. Death penalty and who deserve it.

Good morning, friends. Today I began here reading some recent posts. And I came across one about the death penalty. All my life I have thought about it. Rationally, I would not want it to exist. In some cases, after some time, investigation of cold cases show that the person is innocent. And one says, what if he had been executed? But those are the less common, specially now with new tools like DNA and the like. And if the are guilty what? Some people, like serial killers, will not change. Should they be fed and lodged by the same people they harmed? If one of them harmed my loved ones, I confess that I would want them dead. People kill others in many different ways. As I see it, it is not the same to kill someone by accident or in a fight that to kill someone in cold blood. Other crimes, like pedofilia are not conducts that will be changed in jail. How do you feel about this? Do you think about this sometimes?
