The Rain Has Arrived / myLot

Been waiting all day for the rain. It has been overcast all day long. Finally it has started to rain. It sounds so good on the screen room roof. The sounds always take me back to being on the porch with my Grandma and Dustin. Great memories. I am headed out there now with the cats to listen more. Love the sound and smell of the rain. And so do my cats. They are waiting on me. Too funny. They are like, come on Mom! Have a great evening everyone. Hope all is well with you all. Have a good dinner and take care! Enjoy each moment in life, you never know what the next one holds.

I love the sound and smell of rain. In the evening it seemed that it will rain but then the dark clouds drifted away ditching us.

But definitely the breeze has helped with the heat. It is pleasant here

Today the rain had also welcome me with thunder and lightning. But not for a longer period. It was necessary for as from few days the humidity is too high.

I love hearing the rain. We get a lot of it here in our part of Oregon. I decided on a simple dinner of chili. After scrubbing three litter boxes, sweeping, playing with the grandson and vacuuming, I didn't feel up to preparing. Have a wonderful evening.

We're heading into autumn here and have had a bit of rain this last week. I agree, I too love the sound and smell of rain, as long as it doesn't go on forever.
