Coffee Cake day!

Happy April 7th also know as National Coffee Cake Day! This is a yummy cake to eat with some coffee or with no drink at all.
Coffee cake first show up in the 17th Century in Europe. Of course that’s where lots of good yummy stuff come from. At first when coffee cake started out it was more bread like with dried fruited and spices. As time as gone on over the years coffee cake has changed adding in this life sugarey fruit , yogurt, cream cheese, nuts and seeds.
Today people tend to enjoy a coffee cake that is made of cinnamon, and spices and tend to pare will with coffee.
All this talk about coffee cake makes me want some.

I had no idea that there was a day for a Coffe Cake in the world. That's so interesting! That is my favorite snack in the afternoon!

There is pretty much a day for everything. I like coffee cake I don’t eat it to often but I do enjoy it here and there.

Maybe toucan find some and try it. You don’t have to have a coffee with it.
