We were a Nielsen family

until my son decided to be an ahole... First they sent a letter in the mail with some cash. Then I filled out a survey. They sent a letter with more cash. I filled out something with family demographics. More cash. Then we got accepted. More cash. Then we got boxes in the mail. One meter and a charger for each person and two tracker devices. Logins and incentives and wear the meter all day. Don't tell people it had anything to do with Nielsen, say it's a step counter. Then my son started forgetting to wear it. And they started calling. His number during school. My number during work. Incessantly. I told them he was in wrestling and couldn't wear it sometimes. Eventually he got pissed off about the calling and just stopped. When they called, I asked if they could just take him off. Nope, if he goes, the whole family goes. So I told him that, and that his sisters liked the extra cash. A check every month, sometimes with a bonus. He said that was stupid. Finally, Tony convinced him to wear the stupid thing. That was the day they kicked us out of the program. C'est la vie, Nielsen, goodbye. I'll miss the cash, but I won't miss the constant nagging. They acted like they own us or something.

Well, that seemed like a scam to me. Good that you stopped getting stuff from them.
