I think my 8 year old is being to grow again. You want to know why? Because she commented tonight that her joints hurt. I tried not to laugh because she sounded just like me. I tell my husband all of the time my joints hurt because I’m getting old. Mom wounds!
I told her it’s okay you are growing some times our body hurts when we get ready to grow. I told her go to sleep and in the morning you will feel better. Growing some times is a pain.

She isn’t a boy, she is a girl! I don’t have peppermint I don’t keep oils in the house and I know she wasn’t really hurting it was her excuse to not go bed!

Sorry to hear that joints are beginning to hurt. Sometimes all you need is supplements to make it go away. I had joint pain and I got glucosamine chondroitin , . Ask the pharmacist, like at CVS where they go on sale about it if you take other meds to be safe and ask your doctor if this is right for you too. Take care and hope the pain goes away.

I don’t give the kids stuff like that and I wouldn’t without taking to there doctors also it’s bed time and could be just an excuse to not go to sleep.

@oahuwriter they actually do during growth spurts and when they hit or bump or even fall into things.

It always is a very good idea to ask doctors and pharmacist first. Usually children don't have pain in their joints.
