Summer school!

Well last week my daughter came home on Friday with a packet about summer school. Now these don’t come home unless the teacher in the 3rd quarter thinks that your child is in need of it. It doesn’t mean they didn’t pass the grade summer school in our county means the teachers would like that student to attended a 3 hours a day for 1 month like a review or start of what they might be learning when they go back to school. Prepare them for what new stuff they will be learning. She cried when I told her that she is going to be going and it’s to help her so she doesn’t regress in what she learned over this year. She has dyslexia so it doesn’t surprise me that her teacher would like her to go she doesn’t have to but I agree with her teacher that it’s strongly needed.
