So the head Twitter guy earned $1.40 as a salary for the year 2018.
No. I'm not going to demand to see his income tax returns. It's not like he's the president. But I am curious to know what income he did report. LOL.
Anyway! His net worth as of 2019 is $5.3 billion USD.
Frankly, I would have been more impressed if he had given his employees a $14 a week raise, or even a $1400 bonus at the end of the year.
I'm not calling the guy out for wrongdoing or anything like that.
Just thinking. Just sayin'.

That was his salary. However, I believe he would have got share dividends and rental income and may be some other income outside of Twitter as well!

Not only do I wonder how it shows on his tax returns, I wonder how it shows in the company's payroll records. It is curious.

wealthy people that don't take money for their jobs, don't really make me feel anything. It is kind of old hat now.

Exactly. It's like wealthy people who promise to donate to a charity based on "future sales". It's really easy to promise money that you don't even have! Why don't you donate from the cash you do have?
