My Tropical Vacation

I was gone for a day. I had an appointment at the mall. I went but had to come back at 5 pm. Since I took an Uber there, I could not go home and come back.
I went to a fast food place and got a drink.
Then I went to the garden department at Super Walmart and found a swing to sit in. Lots of people stopped to talk to me. I told them that this was my tropical vacation. I was surrounded by flowers, the fans were whirling above, birds flitted around near the ceiling and I could have stayed there forever.
A security guard started eyeballing me, so I moved on. I sure did enjoy my vacation in the tropics. Where did you go on your vacation?

Years ago, when I was a manager at Walmart, I set up a tropical-like beach display in our outdoor garden center area, and on my lunch break I would change into my bathing suit and go out and lay in the lounge chair and work on my tan. People thought I was crazy, but our sales of the products in the display skyrocketed!

That sounds like a nice place to spend some time. I enjoy dreaming about a vacation in the tropics. Our weather is too cold. I hide inside as much a possible

@akalinus Yes, our winters are very cold. April hasn't been a nice month this year. It has started to get colder again, so I had to use my big coat and my scarf again.

@Porcospino It has been very cold for Florida. They keep having storms in the middle of the country and the east coast. The cold seeps down to us.

@akalinus I have no plans to go anywhere .I'm busy preparing to start a grocery of my own and this is the election time in our country.We have to vote on 18th of April.

@akalinus Thanks.Actually I have sufficient space for a small but we'll equipped grocery in my house.And the best thing is that there is not a single grocery near our area.The nearest grocery is 2 kms from here.I'll resign from my job by the end of the year.

What a short vacation from such sham tropical place! We belong to tropical zone. You may a summer vacation here if you would to. We have beautiful white beaches.

That's one way to take a vacation.
I've been taking one on a tropical island in the Pacific for a few weeks now. I'll be home in a few days and then will depart again to the island probably next month.
Editing is so much fun.

No, she just stared at me a couple of times. I was having a good time talking to people. Someone bought the set next to me so maybe I should take credit for selling it. We talked about how comfortable it was and how nice it looked. I had my drink from the fast food place and it was great.
