Agnosticism

Do you believe in God? Is God just a figment of one’s imagination? Substantial number of young people is raising these questions. They are young agnostics in the 21st century who believe that posing the right question is better than finding the right solution. They hold that agnosticism goes beyond religious belief.
The earliest thinker to pose an agnostic inquiry was Socrates who believed that understanding is the beginning of wisdom. This tinkering on the mysteries of human life is not a doctrinal stance, not a creed, but an attitude toward life leading to a greater understanding of life without God.
Coming to grips with agnosticism, I am of the opinion that it is a faith without the organized religion; it is a faith without God. What is striking about agnosticism is its openness and profundity vis-à-vis the dogmatism of organized religion.
What Christians can contribute to agnostic inquiry is the Pauline theology which stipulates that in our inadequate grasp of things, we believe that Christ is the image of the invisible God. Christians have it simpler: We do walk by faith and signs.

I love Socrates. He sensed God. He was a thinker, a philosopher. I do not know though that he implied agnosticism in his teachings, did he?

@Junbals Okay. If you say so. Poor Gentile, He existed too early.
